Scholarship Little Compton is a non-profit organization that has been providing financial support to Little Compton students who are pursuing post-secondary education since 1967. As our donations have increased we have been able to award larger amounts of financial aid to students with the most need. With the help of generous donors like you, we were able to award $126,500 to 42 students for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Funds are distributed from our general fund, as well as scholarships which have been endowed for various fields of study, 5 scholarships of $5,000 each to students with the highest need and 4 scholarships of $2,500 each to students who attend URI.
Students may continue to apply for financial aid throughout their post-secondary school education if they continue to meet certain standards of achievement.
Scholarship Little Compton strives to increase its endowment and annual gifts so that we can make an even greater impact on the educational success of our students.
With your generous support we hope to be able to provide even more financial support to our scholars for the 2025 – 2026 school year.
Applications are available through this website for download along with copies available at the Brownell Library, Wilbur McMahon School and Portsmouth High School.
